Terms of Use

The app is operated by clips.gg("we," "us," or "our"). The app is designed to display ranked clip content and related information inside Reddit and may link to clips.gg or other third-party destinations.

You may use the app only if you are allowed to use Reddit and any related Devvit features under Reddit's rules and applicable law. Your use of the app must also comply with Reddit's terms, policies, community rules, and any subreddit-specific requirements.

If you use the app through a moderator or account-level capability, you are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to take that action.

The app currently displays ranked public clips and related metadata and may support Reddit-native actions, such as creating or managing app-related Reddit posts where available. Features may change over time.

We may add, remove, suspend, or modify functionality at any time, including features involving rankings, external links, moderation workflows, or Reddit interactions.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, community, or internal moderation use, solely through authorized Reddit and Devvit interfaces.

• Do not use the app for unlawful, harmful, deceptive, or abusive purposes.
• Do not interfere with the operation, security, or availability of the app.
• Do not reverse engineer or systematically extract app data beyond allowed limits.
• Do not use bots or automation to overload or misuse the app.
• Do not infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
• Do not misrepresent affiliation with clips.gg, Reddit, or any clip owner.

The app may display clip titles, rankings, dates, URLs, metrics, and related public metadata obtained from clips.gg systems or other public sources. It may also link you to clips.gg, Reddit pages, or third-party source pages.

Rankings, clip availability, metadata, and linked destinations may change at any time. We do not guarantee that any clip, source page, score, rank, or link will remain available, accurate, complete, or current.

If you follow a link out of the app, your interaction with that destination is governed by that destination's own terms and privacy practices.

If the app allows you to create posts, trigger workflows, or take other Reddit-native actions, those actions may occur under your Reddit account, subreddit permissions, or moderator authority, depending on the feature.

• You are responsible for the actions you choose to take through the app.
• You are responsible for compliance with Reddit policies and subreddit rules.
• You are responsible for any content or moderation action you initiate.

• Do not use the app to harass, defraud, spam, or manipulate others.
• Do not upload or trigger unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or abusive content.
• Do not probe or test vulnerabilities without authorization.
• Do not bypass access restrictions or damage our systems, Reddit, or third parties.
• Do not use the app in violation of export controls, sanctions, or applicable law.

The app itself, including its design, software, text, branding, and original materials, is owned by or licensed to clips.gg and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

Clip content, source media, titles, and related third-party materials may be owned by their respective creators, platforms, or rights holders.

The app is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, clips.gg and its affiliates, operators, employees, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities arising from or related to your use of the app.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the app or these Terms will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US $100).

We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the app at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you violated these Terms, your use creates legal, operational, or security risk, platform requirements change, or continuing the service is no longer practical.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we may update the effective date and provide additional notice through the app, Reddit, or clips.gg.
